Rules for the current sketchbook, written on the inside cover so I cannot pretend I did not agree to them.

• No tearing pages out

• No skipping a page because the last one went badly

• Date everything

• If you hate it, finish it anyway and then turn over

The first one is the only one that is hard. A torn-out page is a lie about how the book went, and I have three old sketchbooks that are lies, and they are useless to me now because I cannot see what I was actually doing in 2023, only what I was willing to keep.
