Today at work, I was given like... some sort of commendation…

Today at work, I was given like... some sort of commendation bullshit, I dunno. It's a certificate congratulating me on receiving a quality appraisal by, like, an undercover inspector that came into our store. They offered to either let me take it home or hang it up on the wall in my department's main room, and I chose to have it hung up at the store. Quite frankly, i don't want to bring it home. I don't want a constant reminder of my job hanging up on my bedroom wall.

It also came with a gift card for the store, which I used entirely on beer, lolz. Basically got myself a month's supply of beer, which i'll totally be feastin on tonight while i grind out phantasy star online.

Tonight, I continue my hunt for the legendary Tsumikiri J Sword. A legendary sword sealed within its sheath, it can only be unsheathed once the wielder has killed 25000 monsters with it equipped. I've been hunting it for a long time in Phantasy Star Online. It has an absurdly low drop rate of 1 in every 12605 kills, and drops from a monster that rarely appears in the first place. Over the course of 90 hours cumulatively, I'm only at 4700 kills, so... I have a long time to go before I find it. Eventually it'll drop.

The beer makes the grind less mind-numbingly boring.
