I've heard rumors that many of the faceless drones supporting my country's dictator were bots created to stir infighting, but to be honest, I didn't really believe it. I mean, there's a ton of people in this world, it didn't seem farfetched to think that there really are just that many fascist lovers out there. After all, that kind of conspiracy is something straight out of a cyberpunk novel, not reality, right?

I guess people like William Gibson and Rob (the developer of Cyberpunkdreams) were right on the money when they wrote those stories, though. After a massive Russian data center got bombed, I went and checked up on many social media profiles that I'd been keeping an eye on, ones I'd bookmarked trying to figure out if there was any truth to this conspiracy. And sure enough, with the data center's loss, a ton of these accounts which used to post daily are suddenly dead silent, not a word to say.

I'm glad that the feds haven't taken an interest in this platform yet, due to its small userbase. Its nice knowing that all of the people here are real human beings, and not the bots that we see flooding other social media sites. As a transfemme, I've had the misfortune to have to deal with government agents in disguise, infiltrating LGBT communities to spread discourse and discourage revolt against the powers that rule the land. With two weeks left before my country's dictator decides he's not leaving office, they've been out in full force, and every time I call one out, they immediately clam up and stop "debating".
